Game night for two · couples, best friends, roommates
Game night in seconds, anywhere.
Put one iPhone between you and it runs the game. It explains the rules, keeps the secrets and keeps score, so you two play together instead of scrolling apart.
Free beta on TestFlight · works offline ✈︎ · no account, no ads · iPhone with iOS 17 or later
Two people, one couch, two feeds.
Put the feeds down for a round of Mixed games. The phone asks how many keys a piano has. You each drag a slider to guess, and the closer guess takes the point. The answer is 88. After 16 rounds, about 20 minutes, the final score shows who won, and the game ends.
Who's playing tonight?
Date night
You and your person, after dinner or already in bed.
Bottle spin: a bottle on the screen spins and lands on trivia or on a question like "Pizza topping for life?" One of you answers, and the other guesses what they said.
Mixed games has you guess, bet and try to pick the same answer, 16 rounds in about 20 minutes.
Escape room is for the nights you want to solve something as a team.
Best friends
Road trips once the playlist runs out, rainy Sundays and the roommate on the other end of the couch.
Seven head-to-head classics, like Four in a row and Dots and boxes. First to three games wins, then the trash talk and the rematch.
Trivia night and Case file, solved as a team.
Tap a name to swap who's playing, so another friend can take a turn on your phone.
Both on iPhones? Pair them once with a 4-digit code and play the classics each on your own phone, free.
The questions work for any two people, from "Pick the best road-trip snack" to "How many bones are in an adult human body?"
Every game runs in Airplane Mode, with no account to make and no Wi-Fi to find. Take it on a flight or to a cabin with no signal. Every level that comes with the app is on your phone from the first launch. New monthly levels download the next time you're online.
One phone or two
Share one phone with a thumb on each pad. If you both have iPhones, pair them once with a 4-digit code, and Mixed games and all seven classics play across both over Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, with no internet.
Built for exactly two.
Good fit
Two people in the same room, or in the same row on a plane.
Ten minutes before bed, or a whole evening.
Pairs who like keeping score, or solving something as a team.
Not a fit
Three or more players. Every game is built for exactly two.
Android. Two Thumbs is iPhone only and needs iOS 17 or later.
Playing from different cities. Paired phones talk over Bluetooth or local Wi-Fi, so they have to be close.
Love scores or relationship advice. There are none, on purpose.
PASS

The Pass opens every puzzle level after that, plus the new levels that arrive each month. Puzzle games play on one phone, so only one of you ever needs the Pass, and the games that play on two phones stay free after launch. There are no ads, free or paid.

Questions before you play
How do we join the beta?
Open the beta link on your iPhone. It takes you to TestFlight, Apple's app for testing new apps, where you install TestFlight and then tap Install on Two Thumbs.
Is it a couples app?
It's for any two people who are close: couples, best friends, roommates. The questions are things like "Pick a superpower," and nothing scores your relationship.
Do we both need the app?
No, one phone is enough for every game. Put it on both phones only when you want to play on two.
Does it need the internet?
No. You need it only to buy, to restore a purchase and to download new levels.
Where do our names and answers go?
They stay on your phone. There's no account, no ads and no tracking. The privacy policy has the details.
